Digital television is becoming more accessible - Tverskaya Life

The launch test digital terrestrial TV on three radio and television broadcasting stations located in Torzhoksky, Zubtsovsky and Udomelsky areas. New facilities along with a station in Tver, where the digital signal was launched in March this year, will provide coverage of digital TV standard for more than 40 percent of the population of the region.

Residents who have TVs and set top boxes DVV-T2/MPEG-4 format, can watch in a digital format, eight public programs: “First Channel”, “Russia-1″, “Russia-2″, “Russia-K” “Russia-24″, “Petersburg – Channel 5″, NTV, “Carousel.” In the future, the number of channels will increase to twenty.

In 2014, after the completion of the construction of all facilities of digital broadcasting network of more than 96 percent of the Tver region will be able to receive terrestrial digital TV channels. This means that in those communities, which now takes 2-3 channel, and not always with good picture and sound, soon people will be able to see first 8 and then 20 programs of excellent quality.

Today in Tver and Torzhok area of ??digital terrestrial TV programs can be watched on TV channel 37 (TCE) in Zubtsovsky – 26 TCE in Udomelsky – 38 TEC.
